Do we need Special permit for trekking in this route?

No, you do not need special permit for Gosaikunda trek because this is not restricted trekking areas of Nepal, you only need to pay TIMS and Conservation fees.

Gosaikunda trek offers you Tea house (lodge) trekking where all management of lodging and fooding is managed by our team.

Do I need a guide or I can go own?

Both ways is possible to trek but we suggest you to take guide for your safety and security.

How many hours per day should I need to walk?

This depends upon the type of trekking and which route your are going for trekking, but usually not more than seven hours per day. Once you reach to 3000m you will walk for six hours.

What kind of food will be served while on trek ?

You will be served freshly cooked food during trekking. In all tea houses/ lodges along trekking trail Nepali dishes are available. Three meals a day will be provided you in full board package.

What is a minimum or maximum age limit for Trekking in Nepal ?

There is no government restriction on the age limit for the Nepal trekking. If the trekkers children under the age of 15 years old and adults over 70 years old.

What about payment, do I need a deposit ?

Yes of course, to conform the booking we need 35% of the total amount.

What equipments should I bring ?

You should bring your personal wear like walking boots and sand shoes, sandal, a water-and wind-proof jacket, woolen shirts, T-shirts, a thick pullover, shorts/skirts and trousers/track suits. Also don’t forget a water bottle, gloves, walking stick, knife and sewing kit, torch light with spare batteries, extra boot laces, sun glasses, sun cream, rain coat and personal medical supplies.
